What is Just Music?

Welcome to Just Music School for the Musical Arts, the premier destination for high-quality music education. We are a small business operating as a music school in Magnolia, TX. Magnolia is a rapidly growing area and a music school is just what we need. Owned by Jacob Evans, a resident of Magnolia nearly his whole life, Just Music aims to provide a friendly, supportive, and communal environment to cater to the students' passions and needs. We will provide top-notch music lessons for piano, drums, and percussion, and will eventually offer voice, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, string instruments, and music theory lessons. Join us in exploring the world of music, finding your passion, and honing your skills to become a proficient musician.

How it Started

Jacob Evans has taught music since 2018 but has been playing musical instruments since 2008. After studying music at the University of North Texas, he moved home to teach music and perform for live audiences. In his 4 years of teaching students privately and in groups, he had the idea to start a music school for young musicians to gain insight on his musical methods and the unique methods of his staff. After many years of performing, teaching, and gaining an understanding for this industries trends, Just Music can create a musical foundation for every student that shows interest in the art form of music.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring joy and passion to all of our students through unique teaching styles from our staff. We bring the best music education to the area with our passionate, professional, and caring staff, and our variety of musical services. No matter what age you are, we are here to help! Are you a beginner with no experience? We can guide you in the right direction to find a love for the musical arts with our supportive staff. Are you someone that has experience crafting music? Our staff is made up of professionals that are masters of their craft and can help hone your skills as a musician. With that being said, Just Music will accept students of all ages at any skill level. It is always a good time to start your musical journey!

Our Vision

Just Music eventually plans to offer music lessons for brass and woodwind instruments, and even music production. In addition to private lessons, we will offer small ensemble instruction, a preschool program for students aged 3 to 5, and summer camps. We will grow as a community, bringing in more teachers and students to fit the needs of every single student. Additionally, we plan to hold recitals twice a year, as well as frequent public performances. Our wish is that every student finds a passion for music and embraces the memories to be made in our creative journeys!
